Bathing in an ice-hole
This custom might seem “crazy” to foreigners, but it’s completely normal in Russia to dive into an ice-hole in January! This is optional, but many people really enjoy it. It is believed that doing this helps to cleanse the body and the spirit, and it relieves one of sins.

#26 This one have also been sold here in Norway. Not a good taste in my opinion, but was OK to mix with vodka.

I live in a neighbor country to russia. Never been there, prolly never will. Dont see a reason to explore dirty, poor, rude place when vacation. 30 other countries this far visited.

There is great and vast beauty in Russia that is rarely portrayed by the media. As a polite American visitor I found the people there to be amazingly upbeat, kind and resilient. They have my utmost respect. I wish them well.
