In addition to the batsuit from The Dark Knight going for $250,000, the batpod went for $413,634 and Tom Hardy’s Bane outfit went for $127,000.

Star Lord’s mask from Guardians of the Galaxy sold at an auction for $160,000.

When Tessa Thompson was called back to do reshoots for Thor: Ragnarok there was one small problem, she had bleached her hair for Sorry to Bother You.

The wig they purchased cost $10,000, which is also more than what my car costs.

Chris Evans suit from the first Captain America film was auctioned off for $228,000, about 100 grand more than what the silver suit from Iron Man 2 sold for.

Apparently during filming this suit kept breaking and falling apart, and Michelle Pfeiffer absolutely hated it. So maybe 8 grand is a little too much for this one.

The costume designer for the upcoming Shazam! has said 10 suits were made for the film, each costing upwards of a million dollars.

A $10 donation would put you into the running for this custom pink Deadpool suit. All in all, $500,000 was raised breast cancer awareness.

The live-action Gatchaman film (I don’t know, I think it was an anime?) had 5 suits, each costing around $40,000.

They created 6 costumes for Black Panther, each costing $300,000, $1.8 million in total.

Seems excessive, but after earning $1.3 billion.

They never gave a real number for what it cost to bring the Atom to life on Arrow and Legends of Tomorrow, but the executive producer has claimed it costs somewhere near the price of an average American home.

The “Evil Superman” suit from Superman 3 sold at an auction for $200,000 after it was only expected to sell for $20,000.

This suit never sold, it was actually stolen from a prop storage facility back in 2018. The police report had its value listed as $325,000.

The Batfleck suit (my favorite batsuit ever) was going to go home with Ben Affleck after Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, until he heard the $100,000 price tag the studio was going to charge him.

Only $8,000? I bet the bids were higher until the auctioneer reminded bidders that Scarlett Johansson did not come with the suit.
