2,000 year-old-body intact
The tomb of Xin Zhui, a royal of ancient China, was found in 1971. When the tomb was opened, it was discovered her body was well preserved. Her organs and blood vessels were intact, she had some blood in her veins, and still had hair. Xin Zhui’s body was soaked in a mysterious liquid that still baffles scientists.
