Apparently, no one is able to do the math in that country, or to see the difference between the "official narrative" and reality, for that matter. "The American dream" is exactly just that: a dream, the carrot in front of the mule. The ignorance is taking it's toll. All those guns owned by civilians and the govern /politicians / lobbyist are still able to f@#$$%k them all.
Dafuq do guns have to do with the subject of student loans??
Maybe if the post secondary schools took a harder look at how they spend money, tuition costs could be lower. IDK, but...
Just an FYI- the compensation package for the typical tradesman after a 4-5 year apprentice program (i.e. paid on the job training) in my area of the US is $100,000+/year. $70K on the check; $30K in health/life/dental and pension plan.
Serious shortage of people in the skilled trades- everyone has been told they need to go to college...
These people complaining "I've been paying for 10 years and still owe the same or more, what a scam" are complete morons. Hello idiot, that is because you've chosen a payment plan that doesn't even pay off your interest. I have a friend who made this same complaint to me, and when she showed me all of her info? She took forbearance for the first 6 years she was working. And she was working FULL time making good money. THEN she chose an "income based repayment plan", which didn't fully pay the monthly interest on her loans. Basically, she was an idiot for an entire decade. Why is that anyone's fault other than hers? On a side note, my 30K of student loans was completely paid off in about 8 years.
