Maybe if the post secondary schools took a harder look at how they spend money, tuition costs could be lower. IDK, but...
Just an FYI- the compensation package for the typical tradesman after a 4-5 year apprentice program (i.e. paid on the job training) in my area of the US is $100,000+/year. $70K on the check; $30K in health/life/dental and pension plan.
