China has ~1.3 billion people, but “most of people in the world” don’t live in China. That would mean over 50% of the world’s population. Maybe the sentence is just worded poorly, or it was written by someone whose first language isn’t English.

Myth #9. Italians eat as much as they want and don’t get fat.

Of course, this is not the most burning issue in Italy, but it’s not true that all Italians eat a huge bowl of pasta and drink a bottle of wine a day, and still remain slim.

According to the statistics, every 5th Italian suffers from obesity. And childhood obesity is a real problem in the Apennines, compared to the other parts of Europe.
