everyone is talking about zero emissions .... electricity is made with coal and nuclear facilitys, the emissions are just somewhere else....

while this may have been true decades ago, we are more and more producing electricity by renewing energy with sun/wind/oceans (the uk has passed 50% and over countries are closing on 100)
it's bad faith to say electricity is dirty to not move to electric vehicles.
even the carbon cost of producing batteries is offset by not using oil fuels or nuclear (coal plants is a unique issue of the USA and the awful trump administration to have reignited them with the fake claim of clean coal)
