She was also disinherited by Barron Hilton (who controlled the family's $4.5 billion fortune). In fact, he decided to give 97% of the money to a foundation, not his heirs.
On her own, Paris is now worth $300 million. Without any money from old Barron (not Baron), who is now dead.
She's not perfect, but she's about $300 million ahead of most people, and she's bounced back from bad choices early in her life.
