I've been working out in gyms since the 70s. Except I don't go to gyms anymore because gyms have become an Orwellian irony in that they are, for the most part, the worst place to go if you really want to get healthy, fit, or especially if you want to train for athletics. Gyms have become to exercise what McDonalds is to nutrition. And yes, I'm talking to you barbell and dumbbell pumpers every bit as much as the morons on the treadmills.
