If you use rain-x on your windshield, don't use your wipers at all. They wipe off the rain-x.

what is the "trick" ?
is it just a normal screen protector like material or something more expensive covered with hydrophobic coating?

it's not a trick... trick would be if rubbed a fucking carrot on it and water would not stay on dash
