Ellen DeGeneres and Portia de Rossi
Ellen and Portia met each other almost 2 decades ago, but they were not together until 4 years later in 2004. Portia admired Ellen’s courage for not hiding who she was during a time when coming out had cost Ellen her TV show. In 2008, they were finally able to get married after the California Supreme Court struck down a law banning gay marriage. They are still together today, living with their many pets.
