most of these people sound really unhappy. I know a lot of good marriages, and they are nothing like these memes that belittle the other person.
In fact, I once saw a mother-in-law make a nasty dig about her new son-in-law. In front of everyone. The wife was normally a super nice, calm person. But she went right over to the old bat and said if she ever attacked her husband like that again she would never be invited back to their home and never see her future grandchildren.
30 years later, they're still happily married.

50 years, we argue and cry sometimes and we even hold hands when we watch TV enjoying each others company. Plus we bump uglies... a lot.
