#1. This Muslim just happens to be running for Congress, and makes sure this (possibly staged) event becomes public information. Framing himself as the noble victim, winning over the evil white man with love and compassion.

What does he tweet when Muslims behead people? How does he signal virtue then? Does he comment, or stay silent? Cutting someone's head off while they're alive causes more than just hurt feelings. Hard to write a letter of apology later, too.

I know I'm going to get down votes for this, but c'mon, this is pure political propaganda. And it will likely work.

@sunlight why does he have to be the voice for the Muslim religion regarding terrorism? He represents himself, not the vigilante terrorists who claim to be Muslim. Is every Christian or Catholic responsible for every atrocity committed by other Christians and Catholics? Evolve. Hate, intolerance, and fear are obsolete.
