I'm sorry to say I don't know as much about arabic- and muslim-influenced art as I would like. But I've always been taught that in these cultures, it is not acceptable to depict humans or animals in art. Can someone please tell me if this something new, or unusual, that there are people depicted in these images? I apologize for not knowing more about this.

why are all the doctors white? and are these the pretentious docs right out of school or the nurses that b*tch and don't actually know what they are doing
Energy Inn, Why aren't they portrayed as Chinese? China has sent a load of Doctors to help in Iran to help fight the outbreak. Also, Farsi doctors are simply not black, brown or blue or whatever you think they might be!
@Experience, its religious historical figures that should not be depicted, however, it can vary. Most places may show a body with a glowing light for the face. In Iran, they actually may show a face, but it also varies when those images were made.
