Originally in Bill & Ted’s Excellent Adventure, Bill and Ted were supposed to be far, far nerdier. They even shot a scene where “cool kids” were making fun of them. But, it was decided that Keanu Reeves and Alex Winter were too likable and cool for that to be believable.
