When it comes to katanas and other replica swords, there is a huge span in quality. If you want a sword you can use for cutting stuff, do a lot of research before you buy. Only expensive very high carbon steel is suitable for cutting. Also, check that the blade is full tang and properly fastened to the handle, or the blade may fly off into someones body. If you want something good looking for your wall, anything goes.
