“I was a big Star Wars fan, but the new movies have been so s@#t it’s just kinda drifted out of my life. It’s almost like watching somebody you used to be great friends with descend into the wrong social circles and become less and less like the person you knew. With Firefly, it’s like when somebody you love dies young. They never grew old, and that sucks, and you will always miss them, but at least they’ll always be the same person they were in their youth. They’re not ravaged by the corruptions of time and money. I still feel robbed that Firefly ended so abruptly, but at least it’ll always be Firefly. I take some solace in that.”
