Taboo
“Scariest six words to hear coming out of Tom Hardy’s mouth: “I have a use for you.”

My So-Called Life
“I could have sworn this show was on for multiple seasons. I guess 19 episodes felt like an eternity as a pre-teen.”

Terriers
“It only had 13 episodes, which coincidentally is also the number of people who watched it. But it really was a classic in the making.”

Band Of Brothers
“Why did they have to end the war?”

Clone High
“Thankfully it’s coming back now.”

Almost Human
“I liked Almost Human. Who doesn’t like robot cops?”

Constantine
“I think it was just on the wrong channel.”

“The premise is simple, a bubble headed social media addict realizes during a business trip that her life is a mess due to her addiction and seeks help from a guy opposite to her. The show started being dumb, but as the episodes went by, it became entertaining. Sadly the showrunners burned the character’s development by rushing the plot and it got cancelled before premiering the last few episodes.”

Pan Am
“It was actually a really good show from what aired. A period drama that worked really well. I don’t even think the full season aired to be honest.”

FlashForward
“Thought it would be a Lost successor at the time.”

Forever
“It’s a crime tv show about an immortal medical examiner Incredible good show, but i think it flopped in the US and therefore never got a second season.”

Freaks and Geeks
“I saw it on Netflix for the first time and was absolutely dumbfounded that it just ended. Definitely one of the best shows I’ve ever watched. I couldn’t believe and still can’t believe they didn’t continue it.”

Police Squad!
“Of course it came back years later in movie form as The Naked Gun. But it counts!”

“I mean, I know there was only one season because Terry died before a second book could be made, but it still doesn’t make the disappointment go away when you finish the final episode…”

Now and Again
“John Goodman gets hit by a train and his consciousness is transplanted into Eric Close, a super-human government prototype in a program run by Dennis Haysbert. They’re using him to fight terrorism, he’s secretly trying to reconnect with his family. It was nominated for a bunch of Emmys, but I heard it was too expensive to continue. The only season ended in a huge cliffhanger. I’m still sad about it!”

Limitless
“Such a great follow-up to the movie. Making Bradley Cooper the villain after he was the hero in the movie was such an unlikely choice that worked so well.”

The Adventures of Brisco County, Jr.
“I saw Bruce Campbell speak a few years ago, and during the Q&A, a guy sincerely asked why the second season hadn’t come out on DVD yet. Bruce paused for a long time and replied, “I mean, if I had to guess, it’s because…there…wasn’t… a second season?”

Undeclared
“Would fit perfectly as a Netflix show, what a bummer.”

Awake
“Such a cool concept of 2 timelines, where in one his wife died, the other his son. Used both “realities” to solve crimes. Just felt like they could have done so much more with another season or two.”

Firefly
“I was a big Star Wars fan, but the new movies have been so s@#t it’s just kinda drifted out of my life. It’s almost like watching somebody you used to be great friends with descend into the wrong social circles and become less and less like the person you knew. With Firefly, it’s like when somebody you love dies young. They never grew old, and that sucks, and you will always miss them, but at least they’ll always be the same person they were in their youth. They’re not ravaged by the corruptions of time and money. I still feel robbed that Firefly ended so abruptly, but at least it’ll always be Firefly. I take some solace in that.”

Cowboys in space. It was just a sh#t setting.
Two shows tried that (Cowboy Bebop and Firefly) and both should be on this list because they're both among the highest rated TV shows.
Amen! I have purchased both several times because I can't help sharing them with friends.
OTOH, sometimes the thing that makes a song really good is that it's too short.
