... there is the reason for codes and regulations. My next door neighbor in fact burned his house down three years ago, because he decided to save few bucks and did wiring himself. Standing in your nightgowns at 5 o'clock in the morning on january 13th is very compelling reason not to tie knots on your wires ever, ever again.

Submit, you are right so far. The part shown in video should never be the solution. ever. Soldering them after tying the knot - don't see a problem there. Still stupid as there are simply better solutions.
