I'd get some 3 in one, a rag, q-tips and have him clean and wipe each piece and put each part back into it's place and then I'd ground him from my tools for 2 weeks. Behavior correct is the proper method, but I'd advise against trying to ground your spouse ha ha. Things like these are why I live alone.
