and man, that 3080 is massive!
i never did it before... once i decited to build it by myself (its the best, you can pick what you want and even save some money)... all i needed was a few YT videos. since then i built many systems without any problem.
but as you said, there is only one thing to be careful about - processor and motherboard (socket) compatibility.
