Phillip,

Weed is legal in so many places and is much less dangerous or addictive than alcohol or pills...it's time to stop perpetuating the myth that weed is worse than alcohol and pills. Alcohol makes people violent.

Nelson,

No. Some big cities (Chicago, LA, Detroit, Baltimore) are dangerous but not the rest of the country. Interestingly enough, those places (including Boulder CO) have extremely tight gun control laws...which do nothing to modify the culture which allows mayhem.

Delphine,

I would say that the way Americans look at Florida is the way that America looks at the rest of the world, but that would be false.

That would imply that we give a darn what the rest of the world thinks about us. Today's helpful hint: we don't.

Jos,

I don't even want to visit. Why would I? I have a save job where I can't get fired without a reason, I have payed sick leave and free health care and there is an extremely low chance to get shot. And I could go on with this.

Eph, Happy slaves are the bitterest enemies of freedom.

~Marie von Ebner - Eschenbach

You pay with half your salary for your 'free' healthcare and all the other supposedly free things in your Euro $h#thol€. Socialists will never get it.

#41 Probably about time to pay just a little more attention to just what those schools you think you're paying for are actually teaching kids. The only way to really guard against the misinformation and indoctrination going on in schools these days is to home-school or go private.
