#17 those look impossible to skate in, the fact that skates need to be tied snug enough around the ankle to keep the blade perpendicular to ankle to prevent the ankle from bending over and possibly braking

#1 So the modern version should be a picture of sunglasses not correction lenses.
Ham holder
It is a roast or ham holder that mounts to a cutting board. The cutting board itself has spikes in it to hold the meat in place from the bottom, while metal spikes hold it from the top.
