Understand that joke you did not.
it's a picture of a stormtrooper.....
Edgy high school humour.
Or...quite possibly because Boomers were bad parents and teachers that were the first self-absorbed generation? Speaking from experience as a Gen X'er.
OR, you could just take the effort to try and learn skills yourself instead of blaming your parents.
Sincerely,
Another Gen X'er.
Dear Tool, I own an electrical construction company, restore cars, have renovated 4 houses, can literally fix anything and if I don't know how to do it, I learn it, so, I did learn the skills myself with 0 help from from my parents....Idiot!
Reread my post, I blamed my parents for being self-absorbed and poor teachers, I never used it as an excuse to not know how to do something.
Well, you're quite the Renaissance man there, Onnie. So proficient at so many things, and all self-taught, no less. Your parents must be so proud of you, if they're still talking to you, the way you hurl insults about.
Funny picture sites are the perfect platform to discuss generation conflicts guys, I'm proud of you all!!!
"blacksmithing" is to "DIY"
as
"DIY" is to "i don't know my @$$ from my elbow"
Perhaps they uses a bad example. I mean blacksmithing was only important for thousands of years (ya know horseshoes and all that) up till the time we had cars about a 100 years. So yeah DIY doesn't compare because NO ONE has horses for transportation... riiiiight?
