They needed to get rid of an USA-backed monarch, Reza Pahlavi. The most radical opposition, in this case the islamists, managed to take control. The dictator was installed and supported by the US to create a local power against the sowjets. Once again a cold war f@#k up.

Yes, no doubt. I just wanted to point out, that the US interventions produced a lot of dictatorships. Mostly right wing in south america, religious in this case. Even the communist vietnam is a direct result of those interventions. Some of those might have had a brighter future without interventions.

#8 ...that's because you took him to a very poor groomer, which there are more bad ones, than good ones, because they don't know that each dog requires different methods and they just have some part time teenager hack away. They shaved around his eyes or something with those damn clippers, and effed him up bad. How do I know? We had a dog like that once and he never came home with red, puffy eyes. You HAVE TO stay there and see how they handle your dog. Notice how most groomers want you to leave all the time? Tell you don't need to stay? Exactly. Then they 'choke down' your dog and treat them sheep. Google it and see. And if you did that to him yourself? STOP.
