#49 is imbecilic. Would you stand and turn a crank for 15 an hour? 20? The task is dull, mindless and repetative no matter what the return, that says nothing about minimum wage.

interviewer: "Where do you see yourself in 5 years?"

Answer #9

does anybody know, where it is?
If I recognized it right, the flag in the triangle between the three houses has white and blue, so, it could be somewhere in Finland.

#49 why does this not turn the machine into an argument for people to educate themselves and get better job? Why is the argument always that brainless boneheads need to be paid more for work that could and should be done by a machine?

Gus,

This seems to illustrate that on the job experience and learning will lead you to higher pay. Minimum wage is normally what you get when you start a job. If you learn more and get experience you make yourself more valuable to the employer, which normally leads to increased pay; unless you are a slacker/goof-off, which leads to continued low pay and finally replacement.

Gus,

If people stop turning the crank after a few minutes, doesn't this illustrate that such a job would be difficult to fill for minimum wage? If people weren't willing to work for minimum wage, those jobs would never be filled - but somehow they are. Therefore, minimum wage is sufficient for some jobs and some people.

#14 Is that really his computer. The photo is old and has to been asked about it not sure what his response was. Was he really working there typing something or did he and his posse walking though the room looking for a good desk to take a picture at. Kicked the real owner of the computer out of his chair. so Mark could have a photo taken there to look busy. The got up gave the big cardboard thing to an intern and went to the boardroom.
