#9 this is a waste of foil. thats why there are efficient tools with more than one use.

#6 Stop with the *ice-cold*water on live food; it kills cells in the plant. Room temperature or water out of the cold tap will hydrate without killing cells in the plant. I can keep lettuce fresh for a month at a time in the house, and I never use ice-cold water.

A lid can be secured on the pot.
