Possible but unlikely. Unlike steel strings, nylon strings are not particularly abrasive. Look at most any classical guitar player for more examples. The ones I have known use their own nails. Though one told me of having to fashion a nail out of a piece of plastic and super glue when he broke one right before taking the stage for a live performance.
