They're already fitting weapons on the dog robots.

They can be programmed to do a routine like this but they are still far away from interacting with the world on their own. The'll get there some day but not yet. One of the main issues is feedback. They only use vision right now. Touch/feel and sound are still not possible for interaction. Lex Fridman talks about this. He worked with Boston Dynamics and they didn't want him to work on improving those things or human AI interaction. They want them to only do specific industrial jobs.
