I remember, as a child, in my, the USA, it was much the same. Especially in the poorer neighborhoods where I grew up. Sadly those days are gone, but I have a difficult time giving up hope. The greed of the welfare generations have taken a toll.

Daycare centers for dogs
For those who don’t want to leave their pets at home alone for the entire day, there are daycare centers for dogs. They play with dogs there, walk, and feed them.
