“Parasite. The way it morphs from a light-hearted (if not a little tragic) comedy to a psychological thriller to a downright horror gore-fest is brilliant. The movie is structured exactly like the life cycle of a parasite – something small and meek and clumsy that transforms into a monster that bleeds all life dry before you even realize it. I couldn’t even pinpoint the exact moment it shifted – it was so subtle. Not to mention all the symbolism! I cannot praise the movie enough.”
