Hailing from the Pomerania region in northwest Poland and northeast Germany, this breed has been royalty's favorite since the 18th century. Even Queen Victoria had one of her own! Pomeranians love to be the center of attention and are typically very friendly, lively, and playful. And though they're tiny, these dogs will protect their territory by barking fiercely.
