Some people have a far different definition of the word "great" than I do.

Zeph,
Fair enough, we all have different preferences, I can live with that, do you?

Zeph,

I don't know about you, but I care a lot more about the audience score than the critics'.

Arry, agreed! Unless you find a critic with which your preferences are in sync just ignore them. They are paid to have a professional opinion, and I find that they often go against the audience. When I watch a movie I want to relax my brain for a while, not exhaust myself by looking for deeper meanings in complex fictional characters. It almost doesn't matter how thin the story is; it can almost always be compensated by enough SFX. :-)

Sheridan,

Most of the time I find them pretty accurate. Maybe you just don't have the same taste as the reviewers? That doesn't make it a bad source.

Midge,

See, this is exactly what I mean. You obviously didn't like those movies. But millions of others did.
For example; Toy Story 2 was the highest grossest film of 1999.
Many saw it as one of the few sequels that surpassed the original.
Just because you don't agree doesn't mean everyone else is wrong or an idiot.

Oh FFS give Will Smith an Oscar already so he'll stop trying. It should be easy enough since the Oscars went woke.

Jussie Smollette should have a role in re-make of Hang-em High, at the end of the rope.
