these are all American things. It always baffles me that all those homes in LA or whatever look the same, sort of influenced by Spain or Tuscany/Italy in the design. Arched doors, Terracotta colors, curly iron decors etc.

Agreed! Bang & Olufsen gear over here. Nothing comes close. Especially AirPods and BEATS!
#9 is a rack system; you can do better. Get components from the 70's - they're still out there, and will likely last forever.
