It is literally the problem - a vast population of incredibly skilled people who are restricted from 'man up and producing ' by market forces and nationalism.
Now, those barriers are decreasing and we see massive innovation in some nations, but the majority are still kept in a poverty cycle to ensure a ready workforce to produce for the white western world.
So, ya, I guarantee that my stance has nothing to do with being coddled. I further ensure that people of color are ready and able to compete - in an arena that allows them. Currently, international innovation and production are not conducive to that scenario.
