MYTH: Lightning never strikes the same place twice.
While rare, it’s not impossible and certainly not unheard of. The Empire State Building gets struck by lightning upwards of 25 times a year. There are even instances of people being hit by lightning twice– granted they probably weren’t standing around in the same spot. Still crazy though.
