One of the last of a dying breed; the referee who could remain invisible for most of the match, but an insanely imposing authority figure if needed, add to this a near perfect understanding of the game and you get Pierluigi Collina.
...I'm pretty sure he could T-pose to assert dominance from half a continent away.

One of the worst referee ever. You could tell a good referee, if he is rarely in the spotlight. Collina was always in the the spotlight with weird decision only he could understand and twisting rules. As, for example, the last time Lazio won the Serie A... little note, after retiring, he confessed to be a Lazio's fan.
