This is actually not a bad idea. Seeing what will happen when an accident occurs might make beginning drivers pay more attention and not grab their phone or start speeding the moment they are alone. Teens and young adults often think they are invincible and know it all.
That an accident can happen is just a vague hypothetical event few people see. Actually seeing one, even acted out, makes that event a real possibility that CAN happen.
