Sure. 3 little differences though.
#1 This time WE are the cause.
#2 Things will go wrong to the point where Earth may become uninhabitable or at the very least causes major problems for millions.
And #3, we can still reduce it by taking action.

1. Yes. By ourselves.
Maybe you haven't noticed, but we have huge amounts of waste we have been pumping into the land, sea, and air for over a century now.
And an ice age which, as the name suggests, causes the Earth to get colder is somewhat different from the Earth heating up.
And just because there were significant changes in temperature then and now are the same anyway. That it wasn't caused by us then doesn't mean it can't be caused by us now.
2. There's probably a reason why I said "at the very least"...
And 3, yes. Using less air conditioners would definitely help. Bit oddly specific example you take and obviously not enough but it couldn't hurt.
