Well, that's how it is. What you are self conscious and ashamed about will probably not matter or could even be attractive to others.
Going bald for example isn't that big of an issue for most people. But if you are insecure about it, it's all you see in the mirror.

whenever i see "depression" and a dirty room i just think of laziness... im 38 and i have never had a room this messy no matter what...
