Anybody know anything about Minotaur's weapon?

I saw this clip years ago. At first, I thought the sparks were due to an electrical attack, like a taser. So I was like: Wow! They allow energy weapons now? Of course, on closer look, it's just the drum wheel grinding on the other bot's armor.

On another note, a large, flat-head hammer is a pretty useless weapons against other bots who have either metal or thick Lexan armor. The impact is too widely disperse to efficiently crush the armors. It would be better to go with a spike or an axe-head to concentrate the impact point. Spikes does have a downside of sometimes getting stuck, though.

I thought it was some kind of electrical attack also.
