Yeah we really can't stress enough how brown everything was in the 80's the walls, the rugs, the decor, the ashtrays at McDonald's (yes there really were). All the neon colors were more 90's maybe very late 80's at the earliest...

I was in California... I remember a lot of pastel... the houses, decorations, everything was sandy and palm tree, even 50 miles from the shore.
