#24 is pure BS!
No pig can eat/devour more than 6-8 kilograms every day.

#31 is pure BS!
They might elude vacuum and close to zero temps but radiation will kill them shortly!

Izi please do a little facts checkup?

Delf,
The original quote #24 likely comes from is from the movie "Snatch", not science. However the movie quote mentions that it takes 16 pigs that long rather than just one. That would at least seem plausible.

Delf,
Depends on the size of the pig. Ever been to state fair and seen on that is SO BIG it can't fit into the back of a large pick-up bed... nuts as big as basketballs????

I have.

#15 Is mostly false. Yes, a monster GRB from inside the Milkyway, aimed directly at earth could potentially cause us some consternation. These things happen every 1,000,000 years or so. GRBs occur every day, but they are observed in galaxies many millions of light years away. And come nowhere near us.

#29 is most likely a "numbers" station. Do a wiki search on it.

#20 Mushrooms are the fruiting body... and they aren't dead when picked, the mycelium is still alive in both the ground and stem. They don't actually die.
