It's not trickery and not perpetual motion. Look uo this thing. Just a simple ramp. No magnets or anything. It's really not a big deal, just a neat desk top item.

bullsh, laws of physics dictate that a ball you drop down a ramp won't fly higher than it's potential energy was, like a pendulum will not get higher. there's a electro magnet in the foot accelerating the steel marbles, otherwise they'd get too slow to get back to their previous level....

The metal ball is clearly being accelerated in some way, and the logical conclusion is magnets.

I doubt that regular magnets are involved, if that was true than this would still be a perpetual device, which we all know is impossible. so there is electricity involved.
