So, is it just that one fig or is it common for figs or every fig or even every fruit?

Appears to be Nematodes which can be a problem in root zones of Fig trees. Not sure why they would be in the fruit. Anyone know?

These are the larvae of the wasp that enters the fig to pollinate it and to die inside after, so that the enzymes can break it down. Don't worry, US figs are self-pollinating.
