#17 Jelly jars were all like that back in the 1950's and 60's. Sized as juice glasses, some were decorated with flowers or cartoon characters. Every family I knew had some in the cabinet.

#17 same for the mustard jars in France. Every family got at least one decorated glass that used to be an Amora mustard jar.
