#9 This is grossly inaccurate. The Spartans had citizens and helots. Helots did free labor, but lived in their own homes apart from the citizens. There wer far more helots than there were citizens. To become a citizen, you had to be in, or have family in the service of the military. Having an upper class and a lower class is part of every society that has ever existed. You know who else had slaves? Athens. Also Egypt, China, Japan, Carthage, the Francs, the Visigoths, the Vandals, the Persians... Yep. Literally every society had slaves. It was the way things were done. In fact, some parts of the world still use slavery in 2022. India, China, Pakistan, Iran, Bangladesh, North Korea, Afghanistan, Cambodia, Egypt, many other African countries, and more. But no one talks about that. The word "slave" seems to only refer to blacks in America.
Even the term "slave" came from Slav - the eastern Europeans who were enslaved back in the day.
BTW, the US, as a whole, DID NOT support slavery. A particular region of the US supported slavery - led by one political party that went to war to preserve slavery.
Izi: here, read something about an ancient civilization. This will be fun and nobody will get his feelings hurt and whine around in the most pathetic way possible. random American: hold my sh#tty tasting beer

Well, Tim Kaine for one. He said the US invented slavery.
Pete Buttigieg is another. He said the US was founded on slavery in 1619.

Andrea: Commenters, don't present any facts that disrupt my world-view. If you do, I'll just insult you since I can't refute your points.
