by whom? other us-americans? the rest of the world knows...
Well, Tim Kaine for one. He said the US invented slavery.
Pete Buttigieg is another. He said the US was founded on slavery in 1619.
see the lesson from #11
You know who else had slaves? Athens. Also Egypt, China, Japan, Carthage, the Francs, the Visigoths, the Vandals, the Persians... Yep. Literally every society had slaves. It was the way things were done.
In fact, some parts of the world still use slavery in 2022. India, China, Pakistan, Iran, Bangladesh, North Korea, Afghanistan, Cambodia, Egypt, many other African countries, and more. But no one talks about that. The word "slave" seems to only refer to blacks in America.
Even the term "slave" came from Slav - the eastern Europeans who were enslaved back in the day.
BTW, the US, as a whole, DID NOT support slavery. A particular region of the US supported slavery - led by one political party that went to war to preserve slavery.
Izi: here, read something about an ancient civilization. This will be fun and nobody will get his feelings hurt and whine around in the most pathetic way possible.
