Are they actually rare? Or just rare to this person's area. I live in western Pennsylvania. Almost directly in the middle of Erie and Pittsburgh PA.
I was thinking this exact thing, I've only seen a couple but that's just in my area I have family that see them all the time where they are.
Not everyone wants a peacock strolling around their neighborhood, they're loud and quiet often aggressive.
And they explode into real bright puffs of feathery color when you hit them with a baseball bat or car.
