#10 looks like the wood was rotted anyway. I had a similar incident with a stop sign on a metal pipe. Instead of welding it down they left it and some wise a** unscrewed it so it was held on by a couple threads and I tapped it in a parking lot
and it fell over into the street. fortunately no car was hit. Picked it up and screwed it back down.
